Cala Girgolu

Cala Ghjlgolu or Cala Girgolu is located at the base of the promontory of Monte Petrosu in the locality of Vaccilleddi, just south of Olbia in the territory of Loiri Porto San Paolo.

A private, unforgettable, wild beach where granite reigns supreme. Behind the beach you can admire the Mediterranean maquis that fills the air with its scents and colours.

Turquoise sea, very clear sand, granite rocks sculpted by sea and wind. The beach at Cala Girgolu is famous for the Tartaruga rock, one of the most photographed rocks in all of Sardinia, born of the synergy between sea and wind.

In the vicinity of the beach are many tafoni, striking in their shapes and colours.
