Olive Cove Asinara

Cala D'Oliva in the north-eastern part of the island Asinara is a splendid hamlet by the sea that, before the Park was established, was home to the Central Branch of the Asinara prison system. In this enchanted hamlet where time has truly stood still, it is possible to see the 'red brick house by the sea' - the former guest quarters of the prison - where the two judges Paolo Borsellino and Giovanni Falcone stayed in the summer of 1985.
