After the great success of the 2024 edition, Porto Rotondo is preparing to host, for the second consecutive year, the Innovative Sailing World Championship - RS21 Team Racing World Championship, scheduled from 19 to 21 September 2025.
The event, promoted by the Nox Oceani Sailing Club in collaboration with the Porto Rotondo Consortium and with the patronage of the Region of Sardinia, will see the participation of international crews from all over the world: England, Ireland, the United Arab Emirates, Brazil, the United States, Africa, and Italy.
The regattas will be held with the adrenaline-fuelled Team Race formula, a high-intensity racing format that enhances technique, strategy and decision-making. A spectacular format that confirms Porto Rotondo among the most prestigious destinations on the world sailing circuit.
As a backdrop to the event, once again this year the Blu Village will be set up in the area in front of the Yacht Club Porto Rotondo - which celebrates its first 40 years of activity in 2025. The village will host meetings, in-depth discussions and the drafting of an environmental report by CoopAgenda2030, focusing on the themes of sustainability and the evolution of sport according to ESG (environmental, social and governance) criteria.
An event that combines sport, innovation and responsibility, offering the territory a valuable opportunity for international visibility and contributing to tourist and economic enhancement in the shoulder months of the summer season.
