The school ship Amerigo Vespucci in Golfo Aranci

The school ship Amerigo Vespucci of the Navy arrived this afternoon, August 7, 2020, in Golfo Aranci. In addition to captivating the attention of bathers and those strolling along the seafront, it also attracted nearby boats, including ours. We took some photos and shot a few short videos during the launch of the boat.

Around 6 PM, the Amerigo Vespucci was already moving away from the coast.

It was impossible to stay still and watch her from afar, so we moved closer to admire her from all possible angles!

Up close, her majesty becomes even more striking and leaves no room for doubt:

which translated from Morse code means: Amerigo Vespucci you are the most beautiful ship in the world!

Those who had the pleasure of going on board were undoubtedly overwhelmed by the emotion of being on something unique and unrepeatable.

We hope that next year – without COVID – the ship opens its doors to the public again. Considering their motto “not those who begin, but those who persevere”, there is no doubt that everything will return as good as or better than before.
