The nuraghe La Prisgiona is an archaeological site located in the Capichera valley, in the municipality of Arzachena, in the province of Sassari.
It was built in the 14th century BC and used until the 8th century BC. The nuraghe has a triangular shape and consists of a central tower and two lateral towers encompassed by a bastion. The bastion is surrounded by an outer wall that encloses a functional area for water supply, thanks to the presence of a well about 8 meters deep still active today. The complex consists of a nuraghe and a village of about 90-100 huts, spread over five hectares.
Due to its large size and the number of buildings, the site is considered unique in the context of nuragic Gallura. Nearby is also located the tomb of giants of Coddu Vecchiu.

The site has been open to visitors since 2009, after undergoing significant restoration work that lasted several years and is still ongoing.
The nuraghe La Prisgiona has been open to the public since 2009. It is possible to visit the nuraghe and the village on foot. The site is open daily from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM. The ticket price is € 5.00.

The nuraghe La Prisgiona was built in the 14th century BC and used until the 9th century BC. The nuraghe is of complex tholos type, a rather rare type in Gallura. The nuraghe consists of a central tower (mastio) and two lateral towers that form a bastion. The entrance of the mastio is marked by a massive lintel 3.20 m long. The central chamber features a false dome over 8 meters high, and is equipped with three niches. The bastion is further protected by a wall that delineates a large courtyard.
