If you want to visit the northeastern area of Sardinia on a boat, you can choose from various departure ports. To see the Archipelago of La Maddalena on a rental boat, you can start from Cannigione, Portisco, Porto Rotondo, Palumbalza Porto Oro, and also from Porto Pollo. If you want to visit the beautiful islands of Tavolara and Molara, Capo Figari, and the small Figarolo island, you can depart from Golfo Aranci.

It depends on the engine power. If the boat's engine has less than 40 horsepower, a boating license is not required; if it has more, a license is necessary. Sardinia has mild temperatures all year round. During the summer, we recommend bringing a hat to protect yourself from the sun, a swimsuit, and a towel for swimming during stops. If you think it's necessary, bring a light jacket depending on the time you choose for your dolphin-watching tour. If you take the dolphin-watching tour in winter, bring a heavy jacket and a hat. Don’t forget your camera.

The essentials for a perfect day at sea include sunglasses, a swimsuit, a beach towel, a hat, sunscreen, a pareo/sarong for her, a t-shirt/shorts for him, and a sweater/sweatshirt for everyone. Don't forget something to drink and light snacks to recharge. Often at sea during high season, there are roaming inflatables visiting all the beaches selling drinks, ice cream, and snacks.

When navigating at sea, it's important to stay alert, not get distracted, and try to orient yourself continuously, especially if you're not familiar with the area. In the areas you visit, there may be shallows or emerging rocks, so be very careful, listen to the briefing, and keep your eyes open. Stay away from the coasts and the buoys delimiting the beaches. Sometimes at sea, weather conditions can change suddenly; in this case, get close to the port or prepare to return, or call the contact number provided to you in the morning during the briefing.
