Booking La Pelosa Beach

La Pelosa Beach: where it is located

La Pelosa Beach is located in the Municipality of Stintino, near Alghero in northern Sardinia. It is considered one of the most beautiful beaches in Sardinia with its characteristic Aragonese tower, the proximity to Asinara, and, of course, a charming sea. For this reason, it attracts visitors from all over the world who can't wait to walk in these very shallow waters and enjoy a swim in crystal-clear waters. However, its popularity leads to a large influx, especially during the summer season; therefore, access is limited.

La Pelosa Beach: rules

La Pelosa Beach is part of an ecosystem that needs protection. For this reason, the Municipality of Stintino has prescribed very simple regulations that bathers must adhere to.

If you are a tourist on vacation, it is always better to be aware of these little rules rather than risk paying a fine or having to argue with other bathers or, worse, local police or the coast guard.

we often don’t think about it, but... how much sand do we unknowingly take away from the beach? A lot! To protect the beach, it is necessary to place mats made of wood or plastic so that the sand doesn’t stick to towels.

If you forget to bring a mat, you can purchase one at the entrance.

# wash... your feet!

to further preserve the beach and avoid unintentionally taking away grains of sand, you must rinse your feet and personal items before leaving. It is not permitted to use soaps or various detergents.

animals are allowed from 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM.

you can observe, admire, and photograph them. It is forbidden to climb on them.

this ban applies to many beaches in Sardinia. It is not possible to smoke on the beach, but it is allowed to smoke on Viale La Pelosa.

La Pelosa Beach: parking

On Viale La Pelosa, you can find parking for your car.

The cost of parking is € 2.50/hour from 08:00 to 20:00.

Parking can be paid for using the Easypark app. Just enter your license plate number and pay online with a credit card. One of the advantages of paying with the app is that you are only charged for the actual minutes parked, unlike regular parking meters that charge for the whole hour.
