The nuraghe is triangular in shape and consists of a central tower and two side towers incorporated in a bastion. The bastion is surrounded by an outer wall that encloses an area that was also used for water supply, thanks to the presence of a well about 8 metres deep that is still active today. The complex consists of a nuraghe and a village of about 90-100 huts, spread over five hectares.<\/p><p>Due to its large size and number of buildings the site <strong>is considered unique in the Gallurese Nuragic context<\/strong>. The nuraghe is of the complex th\u00f2los type, a rather rare typology in Gallura. The nuraghe consists of a central tower (keep) and two lateral towers that form a bastion. The entrance to the keep is marked by a massive lintel 3.20 m long. The central chamber has a false dome more than 8 metres high, and is equipped with three niches.
