Places to see between Olbia and San Teodoro
The most beautiful and well-known beaches in the area between OlbiaPorto San Paolo and San Teodoro are breathtaking bays a must-see during a holiday on the north-east coast of Sardinia.

Capo Ceraso beaches: wild
The beaches of the promontory of Capo Ceraso in the area south of Olbia are many, the entire peninsula is delineated by coves and reserved inlets, some of which can be reached by car, and some exclusively on foot or by the sea. The promontory begins to the north with the Le Saline beach and to Murta Maria the Marina Maria beach.

In the southern part are the Doctor's Beach and the Beach of Porto Istana.
Porto Istana beach: soft
On the southern edge of the Capo Ceraso promontory is the beach of Porto Istana located in the municipality of Olbia opposite the Island of Tavolara. The beach consists of 4 bays separated by small strips of rocks of pinkish granitethe 4 bays that are created are covered by soft white sand that slopes gently into the water of the Spurlatta Gulf. Coral Beach: enchanting
Costa Corallina Bay is situated on the border between Olbia and Porto San Paolo and can be reached by driving along the SS125 Orientale Sarda road, taking the diversions that leads to Villaggio Costa Corallina and Hotel Ollastu.
The beach is divided into several sections by small rocks and is within a natural inlet where you will also find the entrance to the small, characteristic marina of Costa Corallina. A postcard baywhite, impalpable sand, pastel blue-white sea, pink granite rocks with coloured veins, evergreen vegetation.
In the background the Island of Tavolara and the promontory of Capo Figari. On the beach there are stretches of free beach and 'La Pizzichina' an equipped beach with umbrella service and risto bar. If you are in the area you can't not go and see it.
Punta Don Diego beach: reserved
Punta Don Diego beach is a quiet and uncrowded beach that is divided into 2 bays. The bay overlooks the islands of Tavolara and Molarain the heart of the coastal stretch of the Marine Protected Area.
In front of the beach there is a enchanting view on Porto Taverna and Cala Girgolu with the famous Sassi Piatti. Near the beach are the Hotel Don Diego and a small private marina. The seabed slopes gently, making it a particularly suitable beach for children and families.
Porto Taverna beach: cheerful
White sand, blue sea. A long beach that is well known in the area and therefore quite busy, especially in the summer season. On the sandy shore alternate stretches of free beach with concessions of equipped beaches and bars - restaurants.
The beach has several entrances, the largest and most used being in the northern part of the beach, the southern entrance smaller and more intimate. Cala Girgolu beach: intense
The beach of Cala Girgolu or Cala Ghjlgolu is a little-known pearl which is located in Loiri Porto San Paolo in the locality of Vaccileddi in the area of Monte Petrosu. The beach of Cala Girgolu has in precious tin in the area behind the beach and is well known not only for its beauty but also for the famous Turtle Rock.
Near Cala Ghjlgolu you will also find the Le Formiche beach and I Sassi Piattian area dotted with smooth rocks levelled by wind and sea in the most diverse shapes.
Punta Molara beach: collection
A small and delightful beach in the Monte Petrosu area located just in front of the Molara Island. It is an area rich in maquis that grows wild and spontaneous with a large cliff that houses this small, intimate beach. little frequented even in the summer months. Continuing south from Punta Molara is the beach of Cala Ginepro, another pearl of the area.
Beaches of Capo Coda Cavallo: not to be missed
In the Marine Protected Area of Tavolara Punta Coda Cavallo lies the promontory of Capo Coda Cavallo dotted with some of the most beautiful beaches in the area. An enchanting peninsula facing the islands of Tavolara and Molara about 20 km south of Olbia with granite cliffs, white sandy beaches and lush vegetation.
The northern end of the promontory has a long, well-equipped beach overlooking the bay of Cala Coda Cavallo, dominated by Punta Est. In front of the beach is the small Island of Proratora.
On the south-facing portion of the peninsula are Salina Bamba and Salinedda beach, small enchanting beaches both free and equipped where you can do many fun activities and explore the surroundings.
In the area of Capo Coda Cavallo are present exclusive campsites and resorts such as Baja Bianca and Grande Baia, where you can spend a holiday close to the most beautiful beaches in a quiet, green setting.
Cala Brandinchi beach: enchanting
One of the most famous beaches in Sardinia is certainly the beautiful beach of Brandinchi, improperly called 'Little Tahiti' because of its location. the colour of its waters and its exotic appearance.. The beach is located south of the promontory of Capo Coda Cavallo and north of Punta Sabatino where the village of Puntaldia is located.
A very busy beach during the summer season, but certainly worth a visit. The beach of Cala Brandinchi is a very long beach with fine white sand and a gently sloping seabed, making it particularly suitable for swimming.
In the area behind are small dunes and a pine forest equipped with wooden tables where you can picnic and refresh yourself in the shade.
Lu Impostu beach: perfect
La twin of Cala Brandinchi is the beach of Lu Impostuwhich can be reached from the road leading towards the promontory that hosts Puntaldia. The two beaches are very similar in characteristics and are divided by a small promontory where one can walk. Lu Impostu is a beach that offers free beach areas and areas equipped with parasols, sunbeds and watersports.
The beach has a small backwater pond flowing into the sea, the beach can be reached via a small ford to be made on foot. A very pleasant situation and aexcellent alternative to see a really interesting beach.
La Cinta beach: fun
One of the beaches of San Teodoro, beautiful, longwith a pleasant panorama ideal for families and groups of people. The beach starts to the north from the promontory of Puntaldia where the Puntaldia Golf Club is located and ends at the beginning of the town of San Teodoro.
On the beach all services are present useful and necessary to spend a day at the beach. In the area behind, there are beautiful sand dunes and the famous San Teodoro Lagoon.
The San Teodoro pond is an SCI area - Site of Community Interest - very important from the point of view of naturalistic which also hosted a few evenings as part of the Tavolara Film Festival' film review. Along the beach and in the area behind it, it is possible to take long walks, admire the characteristic plants of the Mediterranean maquis and birdwatching.
Isuledda beach: incredible
San Teodoro's Isuledda beach is located south of the town of San Teodoro. To the south of the beach one then enters the territory of Budoni.
A beach of pure magic which can be discovered in all its beauty from the road leading to it.
From above you can admire its crystal-clear, ultra-clear, ultra-blue waters. A long beach with a long, sandy beach behind the suggestive lagoon of the Isuledda beach. The seabed slopes gently and remains shallow for many metres from the coast, the beach is equipped with a bar and all services. Absolutely worth seeing.
