Description

The boat trip on the river in Bosa is a unique experience in the whole area. The river Temo is the only navigable river in Sardinia and the only one with a perennial mouth. The starting and finishing point for the trip is the historic quay at Ponte Vecchio, where the boat sails to the mouth of Bosa marina. From there it goes up the entire navigable course for 5 km, arriving at the Romanesque cathedral of San Pietro extramuros: Little egrets, herons, tufted warblers, cormorants, moorhens and kingfishers, all of which last about an hour.
The vessel used is the motorboat Galleggerò, which is the only one authorised to carry passengers throughout the Oristano maritime area.
